Teacher Training for Primaryand Special Education International
A warm welcome to the homepage of the ‘Teacher Training for Primary and Special Education International’ ( L-GrIn ) project+!
As a follow-up project to “International Primary School Teacher Training” (L-GrIn) (2021–2024), we will once again receive funding from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) until 2029.
We are continuing our work to gradually internationalise teacher training in Wuppertal over the coming years, and are now delighted to be able to support students aiming for a career in special educational needs with suitable programmes.
You can find out more about our objectives and programmes here. The programmes offered abroad and at home (Internationalisation@home) are generally aimed at European Bachelor’s students aiming to become primary school teachers or special educational needs teachers. However, we now have school partnerships that can also be utilised by students from other types of school.
Jule Lorleberg has been awarded the University of Wuppertal’s“Weltlöwen” 2024 prize for her commitment to the project. In an interview, she explains the importance of internationalisation in teacher training.
