Future directions in prevention-focused, integrated school mental health services

Rates of school mental health concerns have increased substantially over the last five years. Schools across the world are experiencing challenges in meeting rising student needs with few resources. This presentation will discuss an innovative model of integrated school mental health services that effectively matches school resources to the intensity and type of student need, with a specific focus on school and group-level support. Considerations for implementation barriers and facilitators,as well as data-based decision-making frameworks,will be discussed. The presentation will engage attendees with questions and answers on future opportunities in innovative school mental health models.
